Plan before work
Job safety analysis, permits to work and written procedures for every task, approved before work starts.
Daily toolbox talks
Every shift starts with a toolbox talk, a fitness check and a PPE check.
Trained and fit
Induction, task training, medical and drug screening, and a training matrix that flags expired training.
Vehicles and equipment
Daily pre-use checks, defects tagged out of service, spotters for every reversing move.
Incidents and near misses
Reported to the client immediately and in writing within 24 hours, investigated and closed out.
Measured performance
Monthly KPIs for every contract: service completion, inspections, training, incidents and hours worked.

Code of Business Conduct
- We obey the laws of Iraq and of every country where we work, and the laws that apply to our clients' contracts, including U.S. law where relevant.
- Quotations, invoices, timesheets, delivery tickets, reports and certifications must be true and complete.
- We treat colleagues, clients, communities and partners with respect, regardless of nationality, religion, ethnicity, gender or background.
- Every employee signs the Code of Conduct on joining and every year after.
Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption
- Zero tolerance for bribery, in line with Iraqi law, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act.
- Facilitation payments are prohibited, and no cash payment is made to public officials.
- Agents and intermediaries are checked before appointment and agree to this policy in writing.
- Every payment is recorded accurately; no off-book accounts are permitted.
Combating Trafficking in Persons
- We never use forced, bonded, indentured or child labour, in line with Iraqi law and FAR 52.222-50.
- We never hold, hide or destroy workers' identity or immigration documents.
- We charge no recruitment fees to workers, directly or through recruiters.
- Workers receive a written contract in a language they understand before they travel or start work.
Whistleblowing & Non-Retaliation
- Concerns about fraud, bribery, safety, harassment or trafficking can be raised with a manager, the Executive Director, or confidentially at ethics@enermaxllc.com.
- Reports can be anonymous; every report is acknowledged and assessed.
- No one suffers retaliation for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

Drugs & Alcohol
- Alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited at work, on client sites, in company vehicles and accommodation.
- Testing may be carried out before employment, after an incident, for cause, or at random where a contract requires it.
Stop Work Authority
- Every employee and subcontractor has the authority and the duty to stop any work they believe is unsafe, without fear of retaliation.
- Work restarts only when the hazard is controlled and the supervisor confirms it is safe.
Environment & Waste
- We prevent spills and leaks and keep spill kits wherever fuel, oil or chemicals are handled.
- Waste is segregated, transported and disposed of only at approved sites, with records of every load.
Heat Stress & Fatigue
- Drinking water and shade at every work site, rest breaks and work-rest cycles at high temperatures.
- Working and driving hours are limited to prevent fatigue.
Information Security & Data Protection
- Access to systems is limited to those who need it; multi-factor authentication is used where available.
- Personal data, including candidate and medical records, is collected only for a legitimate purpose and kept confidential.
